Why we built Quick Login

Mobile players on kno89 told us they wanted faster entry. Typing a password on a tiny keyboard, waiting for an SMS OTP, and confirming — all on a laggy connection — felt slow. So we designed Quick Login to cut that friction.

At the same time, we never sacrifice security. Every session is time-limited, and you can log out instantly from any screen. If you travel between Jakarta, Bandung, and Surabaya for Liga 1 matches, Quick Login keeps up with your device, not a shared computer.

Quick Login works on both our native Android app and the iOS web version. If you use our app, Quick Login is built in and enabled by default after your first full login. On iOS Safari or Chrome, the browser itself handles session storage following the same encryption rules.

On Android

After you install our kno89 app from the Play Store, you log in once with your email and password. Our app asks for permission to store your session locally. We encrypt this token and save it to your device's secure storage. The next time you open kno89, the app checks if a valid token exists. If it does, you see a "Quick Login" button with your account email masked (e.g., u***@example.com). Tap it, and kno89 loads your home screen in under two seconds.

If your token expires — after seven days of inactivity — you'll see a "Re-login required" message. This is intentional. We ask you to enter your password again, so we can confirm you still control the account. We also check for unusual login locations or device changes during this re-authentication.

On iOS (Browser)

iOS doesn't allow third-party apps to store persistent authentication tokens in the same way Android does. Instead, our mobile web version uses Safari's built-in cookie and session storage. When you visit kno89 on iOS Safari, we set a secure, HttpOnly session cookie. This cookie is sent automatically with each request, so you don't type your password again during the same session.

Safari's default behavior clears cookies when you close all tabs or after a set period of inactivity. You can also clear cookies manually in Settings > Safari > Clear History and Website Data. If you do, you'll need to log in again the next time you visit kno89.

Shared Devices & Quick Login

Never enable Quick Login on a shared phone or public computer. If you do, anyone who opens kno89 will have instant access to your account. Always log out explicitly on shared devices before you hand the phone to someone else.

Password Reset During Quick Login

If you forget your password while kno89 is logged in via Quick Login, you can still reset it. On the home screen, go to Account Settings and tap "Change Password" or "Forgot Password." We'll send a reset link to your registered email. Click the link, create a new password, and confirm. Your old session tokens are automatically invalidated — this forces you to log in again with your new password on all devices.

This happens by design. We want to ensure that if someone guesses or steals your password, you can change it and regain full control immediately. Any old Quick Login sessions become useless the moment you reset.

Session Sync Across Devices

If you log into kno89 on two phones at the same time, each device maintains its own session token. Your account balance, bet history, and withdrawal status remain synchronized on our server — there's one source of truth. However, the session tokens don't talk to each other. If you log out on one phone, the other phone's session stays active until its token expires.

This design prevents a security issue: if a thief steals one of your devices, they can't use it to log out of your account on your other devices and prevent you from accessing your funds.

Data Usage & Cache

Quick Login itself uses minimal data — just the session token and a small preference file. However, when you stream live football or play slots, data usage depends on video quality and game assets. We let you adjust video bitrate in Settings. On slower connections, we recommend "Low" (uses roughly 1–2 MB per hour of live play). On standard 4G, "Medium" (3–5 MB/hour) works well. Ultra-HD requires good signal and uses 10+ MB/hour.

kno89 caches game assets after the first play session, so the second time you load Sweet Bonanza or Fortune Tiger, startup is faster. These cached files live on your phone's app storage folder. You can clear the cache anytime in Settings > App > Storage > Clear Cache without losing your account data or Quick Login session.

Tips and Best Practices

Security First

Enable two-factor authentication (2FA) on your account. Even if someone gets your password, they can't log in without the OTP code. On kno89, go to Account > Security Settings > Enable 2FA, and we'll send a code to your phone.
Use a strong password. Mix uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and symbols. Avoid birthdays, league names (Liga 1, Piala AFF), or common words. A 12+ character password is ideal.
Log out before you leave a shared device. If you use a friend's phone or a computer at an internet café, always tap the logout button, not just close the app.
Review active sessions regularly. Open Account > Active Sessions on kno89 and check if any unfamiliar device or location is listed. If so, tap "Log out" to terminate that session.

Optimizing Quick Login on Mobile

Update your app weekly. The Google Play Store and iOS App Store push security patches regularly. Kno89's app updates often include faster session handling and bug fixes.
Keep your phone's OS current. Android 10+ and iOS 15+ have better encryption support. Older versions may not protect your session data as robustly.
Use WiFi or a strong mobile signal. If you're in a low-signal area, Quick Login may timeout. Move to a location with 4G or 5G, then try again.
Clear old sessions if you upgrade your phone. If you switch to a new device, log out from your old phone first. Then log in on the new phone, and enable Quick Login fresh.

Withdrawal & KYC During Quick Login

Quick Login doesn't bypass account verification. If you haven't completed KYC (Know Your Customer), you can still browse games and place bets on your account. However, when you request a withdrawal, kno89 requires you to upload an ID photo, proof of address, and (for some payment methods like BCA or e-wallet) a bank statement. This verification step may involve a re-login or 2FA confirmation for security.

We review withdrawals in a standard verification window — typically 1–3 business days. During this time, you can still use Quick Login to check the withdrawal status in Account > Transactions. Once approved, the funds move to your mobile banking, local payment, online payment, e-wallet, mobile banking, or bank account (local payment, online payment, e-wallet, mobile banking) as specified during withdrawal setup.

Note: Quick Login sessions do not expire during a withdrawal review. You can keep playing while your withdrawal is pending. Once it's approved, the funds arrive at your payment method independently of your session status.

Troubleshooting Quick Login Issues

If Quick Login doesn't appear: Your session token may have expired. Tap "Log in with email" and enter your credentials. After a successful full login, Quick Login will be available next time.

If you see "Session expired" after tapping Quick Login: This can happen if your phone's system time is incorrect. Check Settings > Date & Time and enable automatic sync. Then try Quick Login again.

If Quick Login fails after updating the app: Force-close kno89 and reopen it. If the issue persists, clear the app cache (Settings > Apps > kno89 > Storage > Clear Cache) and try once more. You'll need to do a full login first, but Quick Login will work again afterwards.
